Once in a Fortnight
This past week I had three finals in two days. Wouldn’t have been so bad had two of them not been on the same day and each three hours long. Plus, they were scheduled at the same time, so I was confined to a room for 7 1/2 hours with an 1 1/2 hour supervised break in between. I wasn’t allowed to leave. And the I was required to have an escort to the bathroom. She literally walked into the bathroom with me. It wasn’t enough to walk me to the door. The only thing I had going for me was that we both couldn’t fit in the stall. Anyway, I was pretty much dead after my Friday final and Helena and I had made plans to get drunk together that night before I had to study for my next final this Monday. We ended up joining up with Dan for an epic roommate night that’s literally lasted all weekend. We took a walk to the park and played frisbee, made pizza and brownies, made a fort, and watched the Goonies. Plus, there was booze. Next morning, Helena and I had brunch - potato pancakes, eggs, and the rest of the brownies. Dan and I studied inside of our fort, which makes studying infinitely better. Pocahontas, plus more booze, topped off the night. And then this morning, we had brunch again, studied some in the fort, went to the pub to watch two wild soccer games, came home and studied more, ate some eggplant and rice dish Helena made, and watched the highlights of said soccer games in the fort with Dan. ROOMMATE LOVE!

* Crodile Stitch Crocheted Slippers *
This is a bloody hard stitch to learn! I spent 3 frustrating hours the other weekend watching YouTube clips in an attempt to teach myself the stitch. No such luck!
